Mother's Day Poem

A relationship, very special indeed,

Between a mother and a daughter, it will be long and free;

It started in your womb, where you carried me,

So safely you kept me, your first baby;

While watching me grow, my sisters, too,

All we do is look up to you;

I thank you for all you have done for us,

For we can always come to you, someone we can trust;

Though we do have our ups and downs,

You always win, and you always wear your crown;

You are so funny, and, yes, you are cool,

And you are so beautiful, resembling a jewel;

I thank God for putting you in my life,

For we will be together for every laugh and every cry.
